Available in carbon tool steel and with carbide tips, these premium multi spur boring bits are forged and heat-treated for exacting tolerances and a consistent hardness of 48-52/RC.  They feature a heavy duty cutting head with outlining spurs to produce tear-free bore holes in a variety of materials, including soft and hardwood, paper and plastic coated products, veneer and fiber.

Bit diameters range from 3/4" to 4".  Shank diameter is 1/2" for sizes 3" and under; 3/4" and 1/2" for sizes over 3". Cutting diameters under 1-1/8" feature a fluted 1/2" shank.  Overall length for all bits is 6".
